Burn Brite currently produce a wide range of fluorescent lighting products (battery and low voltage DC power, 240/110/32VAC devices in tube powers 6/18/30/36/56W). They also wind and use their own iron core ballasts and so have a combination of traditional iron core ballast and electronic ballast technology.
Unfortunately there is virtually no commonality in ballast/electronics used in each luminaire and as a consequence Burn Brite produce, stock, and service an extremely wide range of items that have near identical function, differing primarily in operating voltage and luminaire power.
ResTech developed a universal electronic ballast allowing one piece of electronics to be suitable for use in the vast majority of existing fluorescent lighting products.
ResTech’s pilot electronics and printed circuit was altered slightly to become the final commercial product, delivering significant annual savings to Burn Brite.
