The partnership embodied in ResTech ensures commercial relevance and novel outcomes for both emerging and established theory.

In addition, ResTech's status as a Registered Research Agency allows our customers access to R&D tax concessions and offsets. The R&D Tax Concession is a broad-based, market driven tax concession which allows companies to deduct up to 125% of qualifying expenditure incurred on R&D activities when lodging their corporate tax return. A 175% Incremental (Premium) Tax Concession and R&D Tax Offset are also available in certain circumstances.

There are a number of advantages ResTech offers to our clients:

• The normal annual expenditure threshold of $20,000 is waived for R&D contracted to ResTech within our approved classes of activity (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) and the client entitled to a 125% deduction.
• Pre-payments for contracted Australian R&D may be claimed by clients up to twelve months in advance of the work actually being carried out and can be included in the calculations for the 175% Premium concession.
• Smaller firms are able to undertake R&D programs without having to invest in costly R&D equipment and expertise.
